1. Battery maintainers overcharge, doing more harm than good.  Don't use 
them.  Instead, when you're not using the batteries regularly, charge them 
every 4-6 weeks (flooded) or every 3 months (gel or AGM).  Better yet, use 
them a bit, then charge them.

2. You already own a desulfator.  That's what a battery charger does.
