Re: (ET) Elec-trak Digest, Vol 11, Issue 189
I now have an e-15 with a bucket loader. The bucket loader uses a big
electric motor to run the hydraulic pump. I am not sure what motor is used,
but I think it might be a small ET drive motor. In any case, I often have
run the tractor and loader for fairly long periods (when I had fresh
batteries) with good results. I suspect that two small motors ( with a
combined power of one large ET motor) plus 3 or 4 mower deck sized motors
is
a manageable power drain, especially if the drive employs solid state
controllers. I wonder if the power load of an ET snow blower on an ET would
be more or less?

Could you explain this comment? I don't see why you'd need any more than
an
ET requires. Depending on how much mowing you needed to do per charge, you
might be able to get by with 3 or 4 group 27 or 30 marine batteries.
