(ET) ET) Wanted, information on installing Lithium cells in my EGT 200

Hello Barry

The CALB LiFePo4 cells will far out perform lead. Also the new CA series from CALB will give you 15% more capacity in cold weather use. The only thing I can think of that would be bad for a tractor is your going to lose a lot of weight. This is great in an EV but not so much in a tractor. The extra weight in a tractor is a useful advantage but the lead acid chemistry is a loser in every other category.
Your Ranger friend might have bought the CALB cells from me. I have supplied in the last year cells to several different Ranger drivers.
If not he most likely paid a lot more
I can provide any size cell contact me off list on pricing as I am not allowed to give this information out to the general public.
When you want to grade or scoop that is something to consider. If you remove that much weight I would think there are times you might have to replace it.

The 7 year old lead acid batteries in my EGT 200 appear to be dying. I would
like to know if anyone has personal experence using lithium batteries in a
similar tractor. I need for the lithium cells to perform as well as the lead
acid.

I mow about 1 acre and use the tractor for many other assorted jobs: A
little tilling, grading, moving stuff with fromt scoop, grading with the box
blade, towing small trailer, using the electric winch on the rear.

I know I will have to add weight to the tractor.

I am familiar with the CALB batteries. I just helped a neighbor install 104,
100Ah cells in his 1999 Ford Ranger EV.

I have created a website for his Ranger.
