As Ed said, please trim the quoted material in your posts to the
minimum necessary to give the reader the context that you are replying
to.  In particular, never include the entire digest.  It would also be
helpful to tell your mailer to send just one copy of the message, in
plain text, rather than an extra copy in HTML.

When I get a chance, I'll tell mailman to include this information in
the information about the list that it sends to new subscribers.
