Thanks for the link (for a different reason). I have an identical bucket
loader to that on George's web site, and they are extremely rare. I have a

Interestingly, the company must have been sold at some time - mine was
manufactured by "E. G.& W Manufacturing Company" in Eagle Grove. What are
the odds that it stands for (E)agle (Grove) (W)right? In any case, my
operating instructions are quite different than George's brochure, but the
loaders are identical. By the way, I have been to Eagle Grove, and there
seems to be no trace or memory of the company.

Why, of course! I can't believe you have come across an I-1!? and I'm
surprised I have not seen a message from George Beckett yet. How lucky are
you? Prototypes were made for the I-5, indicated by I-1 and I-2.
George has a picture of his I-2 on his website www.myelec-traks.com.
I'm sure you've heard of it before, but if not, go take a look!

Well the I-5 tape over on my early I-5 finally got the best of me.
Model 26CE20 (there is a different stamp style AA after the number) Serial
FP18025
So I got out the heat gun and slowly pealed away the I-5 label to reveal
the
original badge. It was an I-1!
Anyone else hear of such a thing? I heard of an I-2...
