Re: (ET) I5 - Rear Rims

Spent some time at a local junkyard that has a "memory lane". No Ford or GM rims of that size. He did have two valliants and a barracuda. 66-68. The barracuda had 14 inch rims but wrong center boar. The valliants had 13's but the center hole was 2.2 inches. Under the valliant however was a 14 inch rim with the correct spacing and center boar. Only one. It had a Chrysler stamp on the inside and was dated 1974. So I was hoping someone on the list had a 74 Chrysler with 14 inch wheels. Hoping the 14 was a factory upgrade. Basically I need a model so I can do a search.

IF memory serves me correctly, small and intermediate
Ford and MoPar until the mid-seventies should do it.

1962 & up Fairlane / Meteor.
1964 and up Mustang / Cougar V-8.
1960 and up MoPar except full size mid-sixties such as Polara, Fury, Newport, New Yorker, Imperial.

Dart,Valiant, Satellite, Duster, Swinger and so on.

Slowly working on my I5 restoration. Mine currently has a standard garden tractor tire rim on it, but i would like to find the original industrial rims. I was at the local tire shop today buying tires for my car and mentioned the rims were supposed to be a standard car tire rim of the day. The owner told me that if i could find out what kind of car the rim was made for then he could probably get me a set. Does anyone have any idea which car the industrial rims may have fit? Chevy Vega's and Ford Pintos used the same tire size but had a 4 bolt rim.
