Ok, then it's probably a resistor holding the line low and presenting a false ground. Makes sense.
I'll replace the fuse holder with a dedicated hard-wired fuse holder on a wire and keep working. Just got the Molex plugs, should be able to re-connect the Card 2 with the resistors this evening.
