Re: (ET) .....inverters etc

Chris,

Since I couldn't find a chainsaw, I bought A HF inverter[2kw] and have tried out my electric chainsaw with it with great results. I am just waiting to get some good used batteries to make a seperate pack for it. I plan on using the tractor as my mobile work platform. I'll bet the rotary inverters are better at handling the start up surge of a motor and the mower would work fine if it didn't blow the breaker

Anyone notice that the new B=D cordless push mowers are 36v? Or that Bosch and DeWalt are making 36v cordless tools?

Side note on the side note I noted on the website that I built my sears bucket

Works great.

On a side note, I was using the E20 pretty heavily yesterday for general
garden work. I finally put a outlet pigtail on the back of my tractor so
I could just drive around with the rotary inverter on the back. Very
handy device, I can run the hedge trimmer, weed whacker, and other small
things from it with no problems at all. I wonder if it would work with a
modern electric mower for clean-up work. Hm...
