(ET) B & D 36 V string trimmer

 - Greetings -

Chris, thanks for alerting us to the existence of this string trimmer.
And to the maybe limited life of its availability.

Not to worry too much about battery temperature. The battery may get
warm or hot on the charger when the electrochemical charging is done
and the charger keeps on stuffing amp-hours into it. That is when the
battery as a load becomes simply a big resistor. In use, the battery
should stay at room temperature unless the current drain is is large,
maybe numerically greater that the amp-hour rating. It is doubtful
that the temp is measured in operation.

Available amps from the ET battery are just that, available. The load
determines how much current it needs, including 0 A when it is off. I
think you have a dandy solution to the weed-trimming task.

Cheers,

Rhett
