A technicain I worked with in the late '70's / early '80's had worked at 
IBM when they were developing the ET's.  He had some weird stories to 
tell, like they would butt one against a concrete wall, put it in gear 
and let it run until the Batt's were dead - guess that was a form of 
durability testing.  (;-')
