(ET) Elec-trak log splitters

Did anyone ever make a good log splitter for an Elec-trak? I've got some 
wood to split and while the 7 ton electric unit sounds interesting, it's 
only rated to 12 inch diameter logs. I can split those with an axe 
without a sweat.

It's the 18-24 inch ones that give me trouble. Any thoughts? One idea of 
mine was to find a broken gas one and put an E15 class motor on it for 
the hydraulic pump. Or something.
