I agree with Harry.
Replace your timer with the Landis charger controller.
I'm had a Landis unit for 8+ years and my C-185 always stays charged without attention.
The Landis controller is a excellent modern update to GE's well designed tractor.

Another option is to use one of my charger controllers. I have sold somewhere over 100 of them, and everyone seems satisfied. See the Elec-Trak.com listing here:
