I haven't found my reference yet, but my impression has been that
essentially all golf car batteries are antimony doped. Some or all gel
batteries are calcium doped. Many AGM batteries are pure lead, containing
neither.
I'm sure there are exceptions.
I did find a reference indicating that antimony content strengthens lead.
Don't quote me; this is rather incomplete. Corrections and emendations
from
electrochemists and others in the battery business are VERY welcome.
