Yup, I'm also pretty sure the WH B-145 uses the smaller permanent magnet 
motor, the same as used in the E14 and the later E12's (E12JA's). Which 
does not have as much power as the larger motors found on the E15, E20, 
C-185, etc. The wound motors have more low-end grunt and are just bigger 
to begin with.

Since all the large frame models use the same mounting holes for the 
motors, it is straight forward to upgrade the motor. The controls/wiring 
of course need to be changed to match.

But to the original post... did anyone go to the auction? Who got the 
tractors??
