My ET tiller took about 2 or 3 passes to equal what my equally old Sears 8HP 
gas engine driven Counter Rotating Tine tiller could do in ONE pass, as far 
as quality of pulverization, depth of till ... on previously unbroken sod.

But the ET tiller is wider, and never kicked me in the chest when it hit a 
large rock !

ALSO, on previously tilled soft soil, the Sears CRT tiller wheels just spun, 
when the tines dug in, pulling backwards ...

So, the ET did better in that case.
