I must be missing something. I took Pete's comment to refer to the use of
an
AC drive motor. That wouldn't cause any problems with existing
attachments.
The drive's inverter would still use DC input from the batteries.
It's a moot point, though, since the email said that the new tractor would
use
a DC drive.
BTW, a note to Pete - next time, please don't include the entire digest
when
replying! It's rather painful to people who are on slow dialup
connections.
Not that I'd know. ;-)
