(ET) E20 Mulching Leaves
Today my wife and I spent the afternoon mulching leaves in the front and
backyards. The backyard had a heavy covering of oak leaves. Bobbie chose
the
DR lawn mower and performed a beautiful job before she moved to the front
to
help me. She commented that her results did not look as good as the front
yard where I had mulched with the E20 and actually made two passes over the
lawn, the first pass forward the second pass backwards. It really looked
great but my neck felt like it was permanently twisted from looking
backwards so long. Has anyone figured out why the results are better when
backing up? Did anyone find an easy safe way to run the front mounted mower
backwards? I have a very difficult time trying to back the E20 and keep the
mower in the same tracks. Or better, have you found a way to mount the
seat
on hood or backwards, and steer the mower backwards with an altered
steering
wheel arrangement? Maybe I am alone in this wish, but surely there are many
thoughts on the Digest which may help. Please let me hear your thoughts.
Best regards to all, Raymon Ellis
