To all you guys running with the Alltrax controller.
The first time I went to blow snow with my new (to me) rebuilt snow thrower my
Alltrax died. After two years of mowing an acre a week it seems odd that
it happens the first time I ran the blower. Everything still functions on
the tractor but there is no life on the Alltrax LED and no signal to close the
main contactor. I swapped the Alltrax and everything is wonderful, but I
do not want to smoke another. Question is, does the snow thrower generate a voltage spike
when shutdown? The power cord only has 2 wires hooked up to the drive,
should the third be used ala the mower drive? Should there be a clamping diode in use? Thanks to whoever knows. John Jeno E-scrap (3) -------------------------------------------------------------- This e-mail and any attachments are confidential. If you are
