Re: (ET) Welder and Bearing puller.

Title: Welder and Bearing puller.
Geof (and anyone else that might ever need to pull a blade clutch),

That puller I had at the 1st annual "Electric Tractor Round-Up" was a Posi-Lock Model 104.  Currently there aren't any Model 104's for sale on eBay, but here's a link to Posi-Lock's website.

Then just click on Products and then on Manual Pullers and the three jaw page should open.  Not sure what the MSRP might be, but there is no comparison to the cheap Harbor Freight type of three jaw pullers.  I know cuz I got some of those too and rarely ever use them.

I've also got a Model 102 and a Model 106, but the 103 is the optimum size for our needs when working on Elec-Trak deck motors.

Subject: (ET) Welder and Bearing puller.

Hi
I have a welder as well however, it never actually occurred to me to use it. So, I am interested in how well it works, What rods do you find work well?  How much hook can you get with it? Any other tricks folks have, any idea how hard it is in the batteries?  I think it would be great spot welder with the right end on it any thoughts.

Also,  while I am at it Mike please share the make and model number of the bearing puller you brought to the 1st annual "Electric Tractor Round-Up" (smile)
