The problem is, the corner keeps getting farther and farther away.  And 
when 
you get there, you have to pay the troll before he'll let you go round it.

In other words, higher theoretical efficiency usually takes a LONG time to 
reach the retail level, and even longer to become affordable.  At this 
point 
I don't expect to see anything over 15% efficiency available at a price i 
can pay during my lifetime, but I'd be delighted to be proven wrong.
