I've seen mine put out about 20a into the BB600's. It tapers down to
very low once you pass 44 volts or so.
Ah, so 4.5A would be a mite small in comparison, such as with the Soneil
charger/controller. I suspected there was a catch there.
Other than the Landis unit, are there any 36V charge controllers out there
that can control the stock ET charger, or are we back to a Mark II discussion?
Some may miss my goal, here. I'm not just looking for a battery maintainer.
I'm looking for a plug-in and forget system (aside my my monthly PDA alarms to
go check the battery water--we all know that's a necessary step). In other
words, when I'm done using my ET, I want to park it, plug it in, and have the
unit handle both the bulk charge, as well as any maintenance charges for long
periods of inactivity.
