Re: (ET) Fw: E-20 Seat Switch Rating

I replaced my seat switch with a generic microswitch I bought at a local
electronics shop. I don't recall the rating, but it works fine. OTOH I
should mention that I use an Alltrax controller, so it probably carries
somewhat less current than the original switch did. However, current for
the PTO contactor still goes through the microswitch.

FWIW, I have my seat switch connected to a beeper so that if I get off the
seat while the power is still on, it will yell at me for being stupid.

As for the reversing, I use a single pot for the Alltrax, with a separate
switch for reversing. I've tried throwing it into reverse while moving
forward. It doesn't seem to hurt anything, but I don't like the effect
much
- it's a bit too abrupt. There may be a setting in the firmware that
affects the braking current; I haven't checked.
