That's my understanding, also.  I'm going to buy my second one direct 
shortly.

Afaik, the 4QD is not as 'turn-key' an installation as the Alltrax 
DCX-300ET, which is special for the E-15's field requirements.

I could be wrong but I think to get the Elec-trak version you have to buy
direct from Alltax.
I bought both of mine direct.
