Re: (ET) leaky tire
I use the same tire changer listed below from Harbor Freight and it works pretty good for the front tires. Make sure you have a very soapy mix of dish soap and water handy to lubricate the wheel bead before taking it off or mounting it. That helps the tool slide around and displace the bead over the wheel rim.
you can bolt the base to the bench, or put the tool insert into a vise instead of the base. Just make sure it's very sturdy because those "hard as rocks" tires take some force to remove!
the tires for the E8, E10, and wide large frame front tires (e20) are easy to find replacements for. However I haven't found where I can buy new narrow front tires for the large frame machines. Does anyone have a good low-cost source for those? There are several I have here that are just shot.
