and where I signed up at was

these are not the same???
To me it looks we use both as 2 chapters in the same book...mail55.html is the notes chapter and index.php is the manuals and photo chapter with membership list 

two diff owners????

I'm confused. Or maybe you are. Are you talking about signing up at elec- trak.org? That doesn't have anything to do with this mailing list, does it? 
AFAIK they are completely separate entities.  You subscribe here, you sign
up there, and never the twain shall meet, or something like that.
