Chris, Check out the MC7- controller at the site below. I have been using one for about 2.5 years on my lift motor. I have had no problems with it even though I don't have a fan on it. It seams to shut down if it gets to hot, then comes back on after it cools. I am using a 20 amp fuse on it and haven't blown it yet,even though I have left the lift on after it stalled. For more then 20 amp I would use a fan and their circuit breaker for $5.00 more.
