One tip with Sam's club.  If you have batteries to return for the core charge, be sure the tire and battery department is open.
My local Sam's club has the tire and battery department close earlier then the entire store.
I had to come back because customer service would not take the returns without the battery technicians looking at the batteries.
 
The core charge is $7.00.
 
I wonder if the scrap value of the batteries is actually higher, since lead has gone up.
I'm going to call the metal recycler next time.

I wonder if Sam's Clib has different inventories at
different places?  I went to the website and looked
for batteries at some nearby stores and for online
ordering, and they didn't show any deep-cycle
batteries - not even any automotive ones.
