(ET) Shop manual CD

Hi All
A number of you have asked for a CD of the shop manuals. So I need to take
a
moment of you time and explain my intentions and where they came from.
First, when the Elec-trak.org site started to have problems I offered to
send a copy of the CD to Dave R. because it is his intention to post these
files on the EV pages and access to these manuals is vital. It was not my
intention to go into the publishing "business" and I think having this
information in the public domain is vital. So it was my goal to get these
manual to a place where others could download them as required and having
them in more than one place is a very good thing.
Second, These are the files from the Elec-trak.org site, Several
years back I downloaded them to home computer so that I'd have them as a
reference mainly because at that time my connection was a very slow
dial-up,
once downloaded I just ran them locally. Let me say this again, these are
copies of the files on the Electrak.org site-- Nothing more--.
It just seems to me that now that the Elec-trak.org is back and
Dave
is posting these as well, that it is simpler faster and cheaper for those
who want the files to just download the ones they need when they need them.

Finally, the E-mail I sent to Dave via the list was to let all you folks
know that we had not lost the shop manuals, that there was some backup
copies around and they would again be available to all.

Cheers
Geof T.
