I used a plain old hacksaw and cut off the extended posts on my new batteries. To prevent the filings from contaminating the battery, I used 2 inch wide masking tape and paper towels to catch the mess which then made it easy to keep the battery top clean. I have experienced no problems with the results. The supplier told me that the changed batteries are OK to trade in when needed. Luck to you. |
