Yeah, it's like a miniature hole saw, i alway just used a normal twist 
drill,  you end up with a hole anyway.  If you aren't saving one of the 
parts, they can be 'peeled" off too.

Just got an auction special charger working - mag resonant type - puts 
out 45.6 volts at full charge, then cuts out so will be useful as i 
ahven't been using the internal charger for a long time as the timers I 
had have all died and i haven't found a replacement.
