Re: (ET) Transmission question

Gear oil is the lubricant of choice. EP 90 is the grade recommended by Tecumseh. The capacity is 64 fluid ounces. (2 Quarts.) You may have to raise the tractor to what may seem a hazardous angle to get it all in. {And it NEEDS it all. } the other filling option is the remove the gearshift housing and pour the oil in that way.

Subject: (ET) Transmission question

While I'm sitting here thinking about the Etrk, it occurred to me I have
never put anything in the transmission of the them. Do I put transmission
fluid in them, or something? I know this is probably a dumb question.
