I suppose I should let the cat out of the bag, at least tentatively....
About the time Bill was deciding to leave the parts business, I was
planning to get into the restore and sell as ready-to-use ElecTrak
business. Bill's decision and my collecting addiction means I have a
barn full of dead ETs. So, I've been looking at getting parts made up
for my own needs, and... I now have a set of blueprints for many of the
large frame body parts. Unfortunately this does not include the mower
deck.
I'm considering making extra parts to sell to others. I've been talking
with several metal shops and although the shops are surprisingly busy,
getting the parts made is very doable. I also have the ability to
produce circuit boards. It gets down to a matter of cost and how many
folks are willing to pay for correct replacement parts, or how many are
tinkerers in search of the cheapest duct-tape solution that makes the
tractor work.
In short, if I'm convinced of (or willing to gamble on) enough interest,
there will be more parts forthcoming.

Bill used to be basically a one man factory service center for the
elec-trak's. He had the means to re-manufacture
any part that you needed if he didn't have it in stock.
Such as a new mower deck.... But he decided the business just
wasn't big enough to continue to support and had to bow out.
