I bought a small manual tire changer tool from harbor freight.  I think it 
20 or
30 dollars.  but yes getting the old tire off was the toughest part.  So 
far I've
only used it twice (the front wheels) it probably wasn't worth it but I'm 
a sucker
for tools and doing things myself.. :^)
