(ET) Battery prices

Bill,

It depends on how much you use the E12. if it's only a little, i would strongly recommend checking out local golf cart shops to see if they sell used batteries. While those are not good enough to run a golf cart across a 18 hole course once or twice, it is just fine for the tractor, and you could get them really cheap there (i bought a set of two year old trojan batteries used for only $35 each a while back and those could last ten years if you took good care of them). I've heard of others buying used batteries for $10 each (Imagine that!).

If you are adamant on getting new ones, they should go for about $45 each for a generic brand golf cart at Sam's club (but i like the idea of getting trojan "blems" for $50 instead)

Cheers

Matt

I've checked my charger and my batteries by load and spec gravity and am
ready to buy new lead-acid batteries for my E12. Local dealers now want
$75 per battery in the KC area. Have they jumped in price? Where is best
price? Sam's Club? Costco?.....??? Thanks for any help
