Certainly desulfators have their proponents, but no one has yet
demonstrated
to me in a well-controlled test that they have the effects they claim.
All
the evidence presented is anecdotal ("it worked for me!") and my suspicion
is that an equal amount of time on a good constant current charger would
have done exactly the same thing.

The best I've read of desulfators doing is a temporary improvement in
capacity. My recommendation: don't waste your money.

If you've gotten 10 years out of your batteries, you've done pretty darn
well. Give them a well-deserved retirement and put some enthusiastic
young
colts in their place.
