(ET) conversion

My John Deere E-90 is basically a conversion from a 'gas' tractor to 36 
volt electric.  Theytook a model using a vertical crankshaft engine, 
stripped out the engine, tank and whatever, left the transaxle.The 
electric motor is about 4" dia, mounted on a swivel  (shaft vertical) so 
the motor can be moved to tighten the drive belt to the tranny.  motor 
runs at full speed all the time (just on or off), 3 speeds plus reverse 
in the tranny.  The deck is probably also from the gassy, they just took 
off all the bearings and drive belt, put in 2 electric motors vertically 
for the mower blades.  It has a simple "lockout" control system that 
uses two solenoids, one for the drive, one for the mowers..
