(ET) Looking for a second diode set

Ok, someone just pointed out that I really should parallel charge these 
battery strings. However his idea was incredible:

Instead of futzing with blocking diodes, just put in a second set of 
diodes at the transformer in parallel with the current set. Then run 
those to the second pack, set up a single contactor between packs to 
split them and you're in business.

What incredible simplicity. So before I take my spare diodes and make 
one of these, does anyone have the diode assembly on a plate that they 
don't need?
