Recently the mailing list system has been rejecting messages as being
too large because they contain a huge number of included messages.
It's really not necessary to include the entire conversation that you
are replying to.  Please edit the included message to include just
the relevant parts.  If your mail program does not allow you to do
that, perhaps you can tell it not to include the original message at
all.  If you can't even do that, just send a new message to
Elec-trak cosmos phy tufts edu to get rid of all the included stuff.

It will also help to tell your mail program not to send a duplicate copy in
HTML, which doubles the size of the message.  Here are some
