Re: (ET) fixing up a faster ET
Here in Seattle there's a dealership selling these bikes. he brought one
to our last EV mtg. It's an impressive machine with a Li-Ion battery in
the front wheel and the motor in the rear. Actually I think it's 14 spd
I'm pretty sure their were two sprockets up front and 7 in back. You can
hang a second battery from the frame as well. It has regen braking and
does 28mph.
Evidently there may have been a 750w model that would've been legal
without licensing. and the X in the model denotes the larger motor.
Paint out the X and everyone would think you were legal with a 750w motor.
Would I do that? damn right I would ;^)
