Mow Down air pollution


Sacramento-area residents wanting to exchange their gasoline-powered
lawnmowers for a discounted electric mower should sign up for the ninth
annual “Mow Down Air Pollution” event.


Customers must pre-register for the event at www.smud.org from 11 a.m. to 1
p.m. on April 27. Those without Internet access should call 1-888-742-7683
from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 27.
