I have just joined the group, and have some suggestions to add about 
battery hardware.  For the eq. 4AWG cable, try McMaster-Carr 
(www.mcmaster.com) and look under welding cable for a product named 
Vu-tron (pt# 7818a11).  It is sold by the foot, and is excellent cable. 
 Also check the catalog for different types of cable clamps.  I found 
and bought an Ideal crimper for that type and size of terminal for $34 
... list well over $200.  Be patient, and one will come along.
