Thanks to Don for mentioning the ElecTrak Welder manual.
It has great starter info on Arc Welding.
Unfortunately, other than pointing out that the GE Welder has 3 power
levels (not just 2 as I had thought from seeing pictures of the front
panel with 3 heavy duty terminals), there is not a word mentioning what
is inside the box.
So, I can't wait to see what Bob Klein finds inside the box. ( maybe
just a few 200 amp rated nichrome ribbons ? )
Hopefully, it won't be too hard to make my own - only with even more
power levels.
