Re: (ET) Winch motor wiring
Red is UP, Yellow is Down, Blue is common. If Red and Yellow are
reversed, it is no big deal, just run the lift strap out all the way, by
using whichever direction will play the strap out, then hold the switch in
the Up position.
YELLOW | | RED
| |
______
BLUE
As far as high current draw in one direction only, suspect mechanical
binding in the lift itself, or a shorted field winding.

Subject: (ET) Winch motor wiring
Quick questions:
1) What is the pin-out of the winch motors? IE: Is the back one the
common, and the two side ones up and down?
2) When I use the back as a common, the motor runs very well in one
direction, and very poorly (draws a *LOT* of current) in the other. Any
reason in particular why this would happen?
Thanks!
Chris
