  The hair puller on that set up is the connector itself. It starts to 
split open, making many poor and  / or intermittent connections. I ended up 
soldering flying leads on mine, and buying connectors at RadioShack®.
    One of the neat things that poor connections at that card can give you 
is unexpected low field voltage in Reverse. That provides a ride that you 
will not soon forget !
