(ET) Brake Parts 411

Hi

I decided to fix the brakes in my E12. Dropped the Axes removed the brake from the disk only to find that the pads had been completely removed and the brake switch taken out of the circuit. However, the brake seems to be working fine.

Does anybody have a source, supplier, or supply for the Friction brake pads for the old style brake, these are the pads that are about the size of a 25 cent piece. Are they just brake pad material or do the have a backer plate that the rods push on.  Because there were no pads to be found I have nothing to work with. Any help at this point is welcome.
