Depends on how many of them, what kind they are, what charging is
available,
and how efficent the machine is. Electric forklifts often work all day
long
with fast charging during the lunch break. With temperature monitoring, a
lead battery can accept a fast charge to 80% full in less than an hour.
I've read that battery swapping has also been used successfully with
forklifts, though I haven't actually seen it in use.
The automakers have spread a lot of propaganda about electric vehicles.
Much
of it is rubbish. They have been very careful to recall and destroy all
their
successful (limited production) road EVs. Meanwhile, many thousands of
off-
road EVs continue to do their jobs cleanly, quietly, and effectively in
warehouses and airports around the world.
