If the bumper is off, the deck swings about an inch farther out and I get 
this.  If complete, 
the problem goes away.

Just wondering, when I used the GE mower (front), it always left stripes 
when making a left turn as the blade cuts don't overlap when turning,  
one reason we do all the mowing with the JD.  Anyone lse notice this  ?
