(ET) attachments

It is the policy of this list that attachments are not allowed,
because they are large and generally of interest only to a small
minority of the list.  Instead of sending them to the list, please
either put them on a web site and send the URL or offer to e-mail them
directly to people who want them.

The actual software allows them if they are short enough, but that
doesn't mean it's the right thing to do.

Also please be careful when you are replying not to include a copy of
the entire message to which you are replying.  Instead, edit the
message and include only the relevant parts.  This is especially true
when you are replying to the digest, or when the original message had
an attachment.
