I don't think we are trying to meddle in his business...I think we are
trying to give him another option.  We are not mailing checks to him,
they are coming to me.  I will then assess how many there are and if it
is even worthwhile offering them to him.  If I do get enough to merit
the offer, he has a choice...sell to us (those on the list) for the next
year, or pursue his other options...which don't sound like they involve
any of his small customers like me.  

Unfortunately, if we all wait to see what is going to happen, as you
want to do...nothing will happen, we will just all keep talking about
our bleak future and what we will have to do to keep our machines
running.  But that is an individual choice that we have the right to
make.  But it looks like we as Elec-Trak individuals will not be buying
anymore OEM Elec-Trak parts, but as a solid, committed group we may
still have a chance.

Suppose he gets 100 checks (I doubt) or 50, or even 20, it's sort of
trying to force him 
to do something someone else's way, and the Bill I know might just send
all the checks 
back!  I don't think he wants to be 'beholden' to a bunch of guys to
find/make/sell 
parts that may or may not be ordered.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I really think Bill wants out of the small
business.  If he was selling 
the right to PRODUCE parts, I would welcome it.  But apparently he is
not.  He is holding 
his rights, for now, and I'm not sure why.  

If/when Bill approves this, then I'll consider it.  Until then, I'm
letting he do things his 
way.  He does anyway.
