RE: (ET) ryobi

The Ryobi cordless has been discontinued for a while now.  I found both of my mowers in the trash.  I would bet an add in the local paper might snag one for free.  One mower came with a bad charger (just bypassed it with a cheap scooter charger) and have been using it for 2 years now.  The other had bad batteries (not sure the status of the charger).  Both my Ryobi's have 2 12 volt sealed 18 ah batteries. I was thinking about using the motor of the second one for a electric bike project.  Maybe I shouldn't cut it up.

Is this Ryobi mower similar to the Black & Decker cordless 1000 model?  Where does one obtain such and animal?  I've checked Ebay and Google to no avail...
